Audiantis becomes MCPC member!
Audiantis is the first European company to be made a member of the Japanese MCPC (Mobile Computing Promotion Consortium). The MPC is a non-profit organisation bringing together companies from the mobile communication market, including network operators, hard and software suppliers, system integrators and media specialists. The member companies cooperate on intensive research, standardisation and market development projects. “Without a doubt, the excellent work of the MPC is one of the reasons”, states Reginald Grünenberg, Audiantis CEO, “why the Japanese mobile market is so much more advanced than our own. Naturally we are delighted that the MCPC immediately recognised the potential of our streaming technology for the mobile Internet.”
Audiantis will be making its debut on the 1st of September 2006 with a speech at the PDA Mobile Media Conference in Tokyo. All the important companies and institutions from the Asian mobile communication market will be represented at this conference organised by the MCPC. At least 6,000 visitors are expected at the event.
