Explanation of the individual components:

The left-hand box contains an example of a personalised audio menu. Here each user has the opportunity to select a language, the sex of the speaker and a background sound. Incidentally: the simultaneous playback of background sound and speech is an incisive example of the ability of iSound to mix different sources into ONE audio stream. In real time, according to your selection!

The right-hand banner displays the potential of diving into a different acoustic world through a small audio window – the world of the advertiser. This enables you to provide the user with an exciting acoustic vision of your world, providing them with information and generating interest. Removing the cursor from the banner immediately returns the user to their own personalised audio environment.

The text at the bottom in German and English serves to demonstrate text-to-speech-streaming (TTSS). Mark the text or individual text elements and select SAYIT below per mouse click. The marked text is immediately converted into speech by a text-to-speech engine and mixed into the iSound stream. For this demo we have employed a TTS engine from AT&T. Within the framework of our iSound server software distribution we can also provide you with higher quality engines from other suppliers.
